Hairy nipples

Coarse, dark hairs around the nipple are quite common. You can pull them out with tweezers, but this can cause irritation because the skin around the nipple is very sensitive. It is probably better simply to cut them off close to the skin. This is easier if you hold the end of the hair with tweezers to keep it taut. The hairs will grow again, so you will have to cut them off again from time to time.

Hairs around the nipple are nothing to worry about unless you have excess hairiness on other parts of the body and your periods are irregular. If this is the case, you may have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and you should see your doctor. You will find more information about PCOS in the section on hairiness in women.

Hi guys, I'm 17 years old and I have dark coarse hair growing around my nipples, and I hate it. Is there any other way to get rid of it? When i pluck them they will come back as an ingrown hair and if I shave them I can still see it, or it will be back the next day. Is there anything I can do? Please and thank you.

I was recently operated upon for polycystic ovary. I used to have hairs around my nipples and on my breasts. They started lessening after my second child and are now vanished after surgery. I also had a fibro removed from my left breast at the age of 33.

Hi, I guess as an oldy, I have a fair bit of experience. I was a rascal when younger and went out with many girls. The ones that are the most memorable are the ones who had nipple hair - and it was LOVELY! Don't knock it girls. We love you the way you are. I had one lady apologise for the excess of hair that she had. She was VERY embarrassed. I told her that she was gorgeous - which she was - especially her hairy nipples. She was also very hairy in other parts for which she was equally embarrassed. What she told me and what I later discovered turned me on more than anything else that I can remember. So please love yourselves because we love you the way you are. X

I have hairy nipples. Used to really get me down but I started to pluck them and felt a lot better. Now I just leave them to grow. Sod it - my boyfriend loves me just the way I am.

i having extra hair on nipple and i have always had this problem. this site not telling me why, the hair starting to become very, very long.

i have tried everything but nothing is working with my hairy niples, and my boyfriend doesnt find me attractive no more! what do i do?!
